Preserving the Past, Shaping the Future  We invite you to join us as we educate, interpret, preserve and commemorate Virginia's heritage in 2007, the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown. Gifts to the Annual Fund will establish a firm financial footing to ensure that Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center continue to present world-class exhibits and programs for visitors in 2007 and for years to come.

Commemorative Bricks

You can be a permanent part of the commemoration of America's 400th Anniversary by placing a brick on the Quadricentennial Plaza custom engraved with your name or in honor of a loved one.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers support Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center in many ways throughout the year. Volunteers help sail and maintain the Jamestown Settlement ships, conduct visitor surveys, accomplish curatorial and clerical projects, greet and orient museum visitors, assist interpreters in the museums’ living-history areas, help raise awareness of Jamestown 2007 commemoration, assist gift shop customers and provide support at special events. In 2004, more than 1,000 volunteers provided 37,050 hours of service to all areas of the Foundation.
