Plan Your Outreach Visit
At Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center students can participate in interactive guided tours and hands-on programs, as well as experience history in their classrooms with our engaging outreach programs. These structured education programs are directly correlated to the skills, history, geography, economics and civics strands of Virginia's Standards of Learning. The National Council for the Social Studies endorses the presentations, and the Virginia Department of Education found the programs to have a positive impact on student learning.
Combine Your Outreach Visit with a Museum Visit: The cost of an outreach program is $1.25 per student, or .75 per student for classes that take a field trip to Jamestown Settlement or the Yorktown Victory Center.
