WILLIAMSBURG, Va., Jan. 19, 2012 – Gordon C. Angles of Williamsburg and H. Alexander Wilson III of Mathews County have been elected to four-year terms, through 2015, on the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc., Board of Directors. The Foundation, Inc., is a not-for-profit entity that coordinates fundraising to benefit programs of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, a Virginia state agency that administers Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center history museums.
Mr. Angles is founder and past president and CEO of Wythe-Will Distributing, a specialty food and candy distribution and retail company for which he continues to consult. Dr. Wilson, a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, is a practicing rheumatologist.
Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc., officers for 2012 are Sue H. Gerdelman of Williamsburg, continuing as president; Jane T. Kaplan of Williamsburg, vice president; Clifford B. Fleet of Richmond, treasurer; and Mari Ann Banks of Gloucester, secretary. A. Marshall Acuff, Jr., of Midlothian is immediate past president.
