Combination Visit to Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center

Students can participate in interactive guided tours and hands-on programs at Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center as well as experience history in their classrooms with engaging outreach programs in their own classrooms. These structured education programs are correlated to the skills, history, geography, economics and civics strands of Virginia's Standards of Learning. The National Council for the Social Studies endorses the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation's outreach presentations, and the Virginia Department of Education has found these programs to have a positive impact of student learning. 

The cost of an outreach program is $1.25 per student, or .75 per student for classes that take a field trip to Jamestown Settlement or the Yorktown Victory Center.
