African gallery.jpgAll Day  Thirty-minute orientation tours of the new exhibition galleries chronicle the nation’s 17th-century beginnings in Virginia in the context of its Powhatan Indian, English and African cultures. Tours begin at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

All Day  1607: A Nation Takes Root introductory film is shown in the Robins Foundation Theater every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All Day  Orientation tours of outdoor re-creations of a Powhatan Indian village, 1607 ships and colonial fort, and a riverfront discovery area begin every 30 minutes in the Gazebo from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
