Artillery Weapons of the American Revolution

Firing artillery in Yorktown Victory Center's re-created Continental Army encampment The skill of the commander and the bravery of the common soldier weren’t the only factors leading to success in the War for Independence.  Artillery played an important role in the American Revolution, which put the Americans at a disadvantage by having limited access to adequate artillery pieces.
