HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM
Next program February 21-March 8, 2009

homeschool_group_on_pier.jpgAt Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center, your homeschool students will love discovering the sights and sounds of the 17th and 18th centuries while learning about their nation’s history. And you will love the variety of curriculum-based education programs offered for a range of grade levels – all taught by trained museum educators.

Homeschool programs will be offered February 21-March 8, 2009 at Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center. A special homeschool ticket is available, and the fee is $10.25 per family member (youth or adult) for general admission to both museums. Homeschool ticket holders can visit both museums as many times as they like during the program date range. The fee also includes optional hands-on programs and guided tours of Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center. All programs address Virginia and United States standards of learning for history and social studies.

Check back to this page for updates on program topics and registration information.

Plan time to see the introductory film, visit the museum galleries, have lunch and visit the gift shops at Jamestown Settlement before or after your program and tour. At the Yorktown Victory Center, visit the museum galleries, view the film and visit the gift shop.

Jamestown Settlement, a museum of 17th-century Virginia history and culture, and the Yorktown Victory Center, a museum of the American Revolution, are administered by the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, an educational agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia accredited by the American Association of Museums.
