 Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers support Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center in many ways throughout the year. Volunteers help sail and maintain the Jamestown Settlement ships, conduct visitor surveys, accomplish curatorial and clerical projects, greet and orient museum visitors, assist interpreters in the museums’ living-history areas, assist gift shop customers and provide support at special events. In 2007, more than 1,000 volunteers provided 74,653 hours of service to all areas of the Foundation.
